Bonnie Viola Chrisco Meadows, 67, of Cooter, Mo., died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 25, 2009, at River Oaks Nursing Center in Steele, Mo.
She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Great River Medical Center. Mrs. Chrisco loved animals, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting and needlework. She was an outdoor person who appreciated every aspect of nature.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Wayne Meadows, of Cooter; four sons, Ray Miller, of Elk River, Minn., Jason Lynn Meadows, of Orlando, Fla., Michael Wayne Meadows, of Tyler, Texas and Ronald Edward Meadows, of Farmington, Mo.; one daughter, Julia Ann Dodge, of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Clyde Chrisco, of Gosnell, Ark., Oscar Chrisco, of Virginia, Minn., and Willie Jordan Bates, of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Kathy Kruse, of Paragould, Ark.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Lee Chrisco and Lois Simpson Chrisco; two brothers, Mike and Billy Chrisco; one sister, Sherry Chrisco and her step-mother, Lucille Chrisco.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., at the Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville, Ark.
The family requests that any memorials be made to the Blytheville Humane Society, or any Humane Society, or that friends take a walk by a flowing stream or watch a sunset with their loved one.
