Linda June Fritz, daughter of Hester Sissom Petty and the late Elbert Pearson Petty, was born March 25, 1944, in Cardwell, Mo., and passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at her residence in Ravenden, Ark., at the age of 64 years.
Mrs. Fritz was married to Wendell Fritz on June 21, 1961, in Arbyrd, Mo. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Ravenden.
Survivors include her mother, Hester W. Petty, of Paragould, Ark.; her husband, Wendell Fritz, of Ravenden; two sons, James R. Fritz and wife, Vanessa, of Newburgh, Ind., and John L. Fritz, of Senath, Mo.; one brother, Gregory Petty, of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Mariola Yates, of Paragould; a special uncle, Omar Petty, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and five grandchildren, Katelyn L. Fritz, Mallory E. Fritz, Hannah E. Fritz, Jack N. Fritz, and Tucker P. Fritz. Mrs. Fritz is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
One daughter, Melinda Elise Fritz, preceded her in death on April 22, 1972.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Friday, Feb. 20, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with Rev. Patrick Hovis officiating.
Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.
Pallbearers were Bill Harris, Kevin Johnson, Larry Young, David Earl Christian, Jason Chandler, Sean Droke and John David Raines.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred Chandler, Wendell Morris, Harvey Faulkner, Jerry Wells, Russell Binkard, Clarence Henson and Al Purvis.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
