Rose Pricilla Traughber, 98, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born Dec. 1, 1910, in Hathaway, Tenn., daughter of the late Edward and Allie Maude Champion Morgan, she was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Malden.
On Feb. 27, 1927, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Cecil Henry Traughber, who preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one son, Raymond Traughber; one daughter, Betty Baker; two brothers, James and Frank Morgan; four sisters, Gladys Tucker, Violet Benthal, Helen McDonald and Dorothy Hartridge, and two grandsons, Ricky Hall and Tony Traughber.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas Traughber, of Malden, Glenn Traughber and wife, Alice, of Doniphan, Mo., and Delmas Traughber and wife, Patricia, of Tyler, Texas; six daughters, Mary Parker and Corrine Mullins and husband, Walter, all of Malden, Laverne Turpen and husband, Jack, of Henderson, Ark., Imogene Scott Enlow and husband, Homer, of Guin, Ala., Glenda Veith and husband, Bill, of Hayti, Mo., and Margie Smith and husband, Jerry, of Memphis, Tenn.; 40 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Friday, Feb. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carter Grindstaff officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
