Hal Dean Tackeberry, 71, of Loves Park, Ill., died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Loves Park.
Born June 28, 1937, in Senath, Mo., son of the late James A. and Cora A. Baker Tackeberry, he was a graduate of Kennett High School.
Survivors include his wife, Inga; two daughters, Susan Hanfeld and husband, Jeff, of Loves Park; and Kathy Weber and husband, Butch, of Roscoe, Ill.; one son, Jeffrey Tackeberry and wife, Melanie, of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Leota Pickens, of Paragould, Ark., and Dorothy Barkovitz and husband, Jacob, of Ocala, Fla., and grandchildren, Tyler and Brianna Hanfeld, Kelsey, Madeline, Kyle and Samuel Tackeberry, and Matthew, Andrew, Lucas and Benjamin Weber.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Dawn Tackeberry and two brothers, Paul Leon and Jimmy Dale.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Windsor Baptist Church in Loves Park.
Delehanty Funeral Home of Loves Park was in charge of arrangements.
