Charles Thomas "Tom" Cochran, 67, of Hayti, Mo., died Jan. 24, 2009, in the St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Nov. 29, 1941, in Wyandotte, Mich., the son of the late Kenneth Roy and Mary Ann Bullifant Cochran, he last worked for Trinity Industries in Caruthersville, Mo.
He was married to Eva Annabelle Jones for 38 years, she preceded him in death on Nov. 8, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Kent Cochran and Charles "Chuckie" Thomas Cochran, Jr., stepchildren, Branda and Danny Ray Nave, of Hayti, Mo., three sisters and two brothers, Barbara Ann Woods, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Donna Jean Cottone, of Pelhan, Ala., Robert James Cochran, of Woodhaven Mich., Terry Michael Cochran, of Bronstown, Mich., and Mary Elizabeth, of Mich., his step-father John Keller, of Wyandotte, Mich., six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Judy, two brothers, Kenneth Roy Cochran, II, and William "Billy" Roger Cochran.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m., in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, MO., with Dr. Tony Cherry officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, Mo.
Pallbearers were Bobby Irions, Brian Irions, Brandon Irions, Curt Nave, Gary Woods, and Robert Cochran.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, Mo., was in charge of all arrangements.
