Holland Hubert Edmundson, 90, of Kennett, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at his residence.
Born August 4, 1918, in Trenton, Tenn., the son of the late Hubert Taylor and Lattie Pearl Stewart Edmundson. He was a veteran of WWII, in which he served in the U.S. Navy.
On Aug. 30, 1941, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Betty Jo Gale, who survives him in death.
Other survivors include one son, Ron Edmundson, of Festus, Mo., three daughters, Glenda LaClave and husband Grant, of Memphis, Tenn., Beverly Bennett and husand Bob, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Ruth Chailland and husband Larry, of Kennett, Mo., six granchildren, Sheryl Stockton, Cory Shipman, Matthew Edmundson, Timothy Edmundson, Chris Chailland, and Charla Chailland, and four great grand-children, Ava Stockton, Emily Edmundson, Carter Shipman, and Davis Shipman.
Visitation was held from 12 to 1 p.m. at Bradshaw Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Al Pulis officiating.
Interment with military rites was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
