Willa Martin

Willa Dean Martin, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Born Nov. 30, 1932, in Choctaw, Ark., daughter of the late Charley and Nancy Anderson, she worked as a receptionist for Dr. Zackwrie Parr in Poplar Bluff.

Survivors include one son, Zackwrie Parr and wife, Regina, of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Azalee Goddard, of California, and four grandchildren, Zackwrie Parr Jr., Collin Parr, and Ashley and Brittany Doerr.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; one brother, Alvie Shannon and two sisters, Ava Lou Anderson and Betty Jo Davis.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, at Cotrell Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
