Mary Delores Madden, 79, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009.
Born Oct. 24, 1929, in Hornersville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Otis Reed and Bertha Mae Curry Droke.
On Jan. 20, 1957, in Kennett, she married Thomas Lee Madden, who preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1971. She was also preceded in death by one son, Timothy Lee Madden and one brother, Harold "Pete" Wayne Droke.
Survivors include three daughters, Laura Shokouhi and husband, Phil, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Belinda Madden and Lisa Madden-Wood and husband, Byrne, all of Kennett; five grandchildren, Leah Madden, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Lindsey Pruett, of Springfield, Mo., and Westley, Carson and Maddie Wood, all of Kennett, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Pemberton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Westley and Carson Wood, Chris and Steve Droke, Jeff Anglin and John Gamble.
Honorary pallbearers are First United Methodist Church Fellowship Class, Bill Fender, Ed Kawalski, Gerald Burton and Gerry and Ona Gamble.
