Marjorie Parr

Marjorie Amanda Parr, 88, of Owensboro, Ky., formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Professional Care in Hartford, Ky.

Born Oct. 3, 1920, in Blackrock, Ark., daughter of the late Horace D. and Zelma Clara East Hulett, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She married Marion Parr, who preceded her in death in 1966. She was also preceded in death by one son, Marion D. Parr; one daughter, Marsha Haskew; a half-brother, Harold Hulett and two half-sisters, Maurine Hulett and Opal Bailey.

Survivors include four half-brothers, H.D., Joe, Adam and Jarold Hulett; two half-sisters, Marie Sexton and Janie Miner; two grandchildren, Randy McQueen and Sara Haskew and one great-granddaughter, Willow McQueen.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
