Linda Foster

Born Aug. 27, 1945, in Caraway, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Carl C. and June Hurley Avants.

On Jan. 28, 2003, she married Nills Foster, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Charles Patton and wife, Nancy and Gary Patton and wife, Stephanie, all of Kennett; six daughters, Tarry Barton and husband, Bobby, Brenda Hightower and husband, Steve, Teresa, Paula and Donnita Patton and Lisa Haynes, all of Kennett; one brother, Charles Avants of Kennett; four sisters, Barbara Allison, of Campbell, Mo., JoAnn Estes and Donna Akers, both of Kennett and Bonita Goodrich, of Piggott, Ark.; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Avants and two grandsons, Nicolas Fuller and Broch Steinback.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark White officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Mark Haynes, Joseph and Michael Fuller, and Steven, Brandon and Kenneth Hightower.

Honorary pallbearers are Justin Fuller and Randy Barton.
