Katen Swims

Joshua and Kristen Swims of Wardell, Mo., announce the birth of their daughter, Katen Elizabeth Swims, born Dec. 10, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

She weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of John and Hope Swims of Holcomb, Mo., and Ed and Monica Houchins of Senath, Mo., the great-granddaughter of Mary Ogden and Lucy Swims of Wardell, Joanna Sherfield of Kennett, Jack Jackson of Seabring, Fla., and Connie Johnson of Lebanon, Va., and the great-great-granddaughter of Dot Taylor of Senath, Geneva Lance-Rogers of Seabring and Lloyd and Violet Baker of Lebanon.
