Willene French Hubbard, 81, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at Kennett.
Born Aug. 3, 1927, in Hardy, Ark., daughter of the late Emmett Bell and Sarah McCord French, she was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett.
On Feb. 11, 1951, she married Jerry D. Hubbard.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hubbard, of Kennett; one son, Stephen Wayne Hubbard and wife, Martha, of Jonesboro, Ark.; two daughters, Jeris Ann Cash and husband, Rickie, of Paragould, Ark., and Debra Ann Lyons and husband, Thomas, of Kennett; eight grandchildren, Mark Ashley Cash and wife, Whitney, Sarah Ann Spann and husband, David, Allyson Ann Maxwell and husband, Grant, Joel Thomas Lyons, Nathan Wayne Lyons, Jeremy Hubbard Lyons, Hilary Renae Hubbard and Mackenzie Elizabeth Hubbard; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vera Cooper, of St. Louis, Mo., and Eva Hanks, of Hazen, Ark., and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Emmett Bell French, Jr.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Jan. 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, at the First Baptist Church in Kennett with Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers will be Mark Cash, Joel, Nathan and Jeremy Lyons, David Spann and Grant Maxwell.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Kennett or the American Cancer Society.
