Carleton "Mr. C." Crum, 76, of Kennett, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Jan. 7, 1932, in Kennett, son of the late William Carl and Ethel Cariaco Crum, he was owner and operator of Mr. C's in Kennett.
On April 23, 1950, in Kennett, he married Polly Haney, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Michael Crum and wife, Linda of Mansfield, Penn.; one daughter, Linda Pender and husband Jim , of Kennett, one granddaughter, Jessica Crum, of Mansfield, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Revs. Ledell Bailey, Bud Evans and Jason Bowen officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Stanley, Tom Stanley, Charles Robert Crider, Danny Haney, Mike Chitty and Jason Sherrod.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Crum, Rueben Seay, Ray Rowland, Bob White, Jack Lance, Dallas Allen, Donnie Brooks, Huel Jackson, Frank Carter and Jackie Gattis.
