Born Jan. 8, 1949, in Parkin, Ark., son of Martha Bell Jefferies Duncan and the late James Elmer Duncan, he was a U.S. Army veteran and was a farmer.
On April 12, 1968, in Kennett, he married Betty Jo Barton, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Todd Duncan, of Holcomb and John Duncan, of Qulin, Mo.; three daughters, Levenda Gambrell, Lisa Coleman and Sindy Stark, all of Holcomb; his mother, Martha Bell Jefferies; one brother, Ricky Duncan, of Kennett; five sisters, Reba Carano, of Illinois, Mary Gambrell, of Piedmont, Mo., Donna Moody, of Kennett, Nelda Moody, of Paragould, Ark., and Edna Duncan, of Tennessee, and 15 grandchildren.
He was receded in death by one daughter, Christina Duncan.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the McCulley Cemetery at Kennett.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
