Mabel Ornder

Mabel O. Ornder, 98, of Malden, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at the Malden Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 2, 1910, in Kennett, daughter of the late Sam and Minnesota Philhours Pierce, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Malden.

On Oct. 6, 1934, in Arbyrd, Mo., she married Cleo George Ornder, who preceded her in death on April 27, 1989.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Snyder and husband, Malcolm, of Malden; one granddaughter, Yvonne Bridges, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one grandson, George Snyder, of Cabot, Ark., and four great-grandchildren, Amanda and Jamie Bridges and Emily and Anna Snyder.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Stan Dauck officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath, Mo.
