Mildred Lucille Reno, 85, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at her residence.
Born May 30, 1923, in Marston, Mo., daughter of the late Fredrick Buck Butler and Pearl Alice Butler, she was a homemaker.
On Dec. 21, 1946, in Marston, she married Markie Rader Reno, who survives.
Survivors also include six daughters, Carolyn Anette Howard, Judy Marie Redden, Shirley Jean Foster, Alice Faye Best, Pamela Rose Sherrill and Phyllis Jane Durham; two sons, Mark Stanley and Michael David Reno; two sisters, Cora Taylor of Rancho Cuccamonga, Calif., and Jessie Smith, of Kansas City, Kan.; 20 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Phyllis Ann and Patricia J Butler and Eva Almeda Rose and six brothers, Eddie, William Herman, William Alexander, Fredrick, John Lewis and Charles Eugene Butler.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the Jesus Name Tabernacle Church in Caruthersville with Bro. John Stepp officiating.
Pallbearers were Danny Sherrill, Ronnie Flowers, Richie Delarber, Maurice and Reggie Redden and Lamar Durham.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Paul Sherrill and Christopher and Bradley Redden.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
