Randol Toole
Randol Wade Toole, 82, of Gideon died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at the John Cochran V.A. Hospital in St. Louis. He was an Army veteran, having served during World War II and was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Gideon.

Born in White Oak on July 3, 1926, he was the son of the late Odie Vance and Ola Belle (Ham) Toole. On May 5, 1950, in Piggott, Ark., he was united in marriage to the former Earlene Gilkey, and she survives of the home in Gideon.

Also surviving are two daughters, Diane (Bill) Martin of Georgetown, Texas, and Pam (Mike) Winchester of Clarkton; one sister, Eunice James of Senath; one brother, Rex Toole of Jefferson City; one granddaughter, Amy Cowart of Clarkton; five grandsons, Nash Godsey of Georgetown, Texas, Tommy Winchester of Malden, Brent Winchester of Kennett, Kyle Godsey of Madera, Calif., and Cory Godsey of Parma; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Gideon with the Rev. Randy DeProw officiating the services. Burial was with military honors and held in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Gideon was in charge of arrangements.
