Clifford Jones

Clifford Jones, 74, of Kennett, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Aug. 11, 1934, in Blackoak, Ark., he was the son of the late Uvene and Ziffie Marsh Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Paulette Jones, of Kennett; two sons, Kenneth Lynn Jones and Clifford Eugene Jones Jr.; five daughters, Vickie Swarringin, Becky, Cindy and Ziffie Jones and Carla Stevens; one step-daughter, Darla Marie Bartlett; three brothers, Jerry, Tony and Ronnie Jones; two sisters, Shirley Ragsdale and Loretta Keibler; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Charles, Clifford and Jessie Jones; one sister, Wilma Lane and one brother, Leon Jones.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 18, in the Senath Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.a
