Born April 27, 1934, in Malden, son of the late Vondes Verell and Opal Elena Thompson Paul, he was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed at Four County Farm Center in Malden. He was a member of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden.
On Dec. 18, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., he married Lois Jean Albright, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Tony Paul and wife, Reatha, of New Hamburg, Mo., Scott Paul and wife, Jenny, of Independence, Ky., and Rodney Paul and wife, Melissa, of El Paso, Ark.; one sister, Linda Shuler, of LaHabra, Calif.; four grandchildren, Courtney, Chelsea and Kristian Paul and Rachel Turner and one great-grandchild, Torin Turner.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Paul.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 p.m., Friday, December 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Hargrave officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
