The parade, which began at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street, featured more than 30 entries and nine floats.
Winning floats were chosen and awarded cash prizes. First place, and $100 went to Amber Chandler's Preschool class with their entry of "Christmas at the Zoo." Second place and $75 went to Nucor Steel with their entry of "Candy Cane Plane." Third place and $50 went to Johnson's Chapel Church with their entry of "Get Connected." The Santa Claus float received an honorable mention.
Nucor donated their prize money, along with funds they received from sponsors for their float, to Toys for Tots.
