Mrs. Meadows was born Nov. 14, 1923 in Campbell, Mo. She was a member of Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, and was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Mrs. Meadows was raised on a farm and loved taking care of her yard and flowers. She had a number of pets, and was a compassionate animal lover. During the 1960's Mrs. Meadows worked at Ely-Walker Shirt Mfg., and from 1974 to 1976 she worked at Snider's Grocery in the Produce Department. On Jan, 7, 2008 she was involved in a fiery car crash that nearly took her life if not for her guardian angel who saved her. Her health continued to decline from April until her passing. Aileen was a strong determined lady who dedicated her life to her daughter Judy. Special thanks go to all the third wing hospital staff at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for the wonderful care and kindness that Aileen received. God has called Aileen home to join him in the kingdom of Heaven. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
