Born Aug. 23, 1925, in Frisco, Mo., daughter of the late Jess and Laura Wilson Brown, she was a homemaker, a member of the Williamsville Quilters and the Poplar Bluff Chapter of the Red Hat Ladies. She was of the Baptist faith.
On May 12, 1944, she married Orville Floyd Swinger, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Randy Swinger, of Williamsville; two daughters, Mary Davis and Nancy Ross, both of Kennett; two brothers, Jess and Bob Brown, both of Dexter, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28, at the Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont, Mo.
No services planned.
