Kerbie Bryant of Batesville, Miss., and Ryan Looney of Kennett, were married Aug. 8, 2008, at the Moon Palace Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Sally Shaheen Simmerman of Batesville and Gene Bryant of Meridian, Miss., and the granddaughter of the late Dr. Michael and Mabel Shaheen of Como, Miss., and M.L. and Dessie Bryant of Okolona, Miss.

She is a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University, and is currently employed by Massage Envy in Kansas City, Mo., as the clinical administrator. She is also attending MapleWoods Community College, where she is earning an associates degree in Sign Language.

The groom is the son of Leisa Wilkerson Campbell of Kennett and Robert Looney of Kennett, and the grandson of William Wilkerson and Ruth Choate Wilkerson, and Ruth West and the late Bill West, all of Kennett.

He is a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University and is currently employed with Eye Associates of Overland Park, Kan.

The couple is residing in Kansas City, Mo.
