Born May 6, 1913, in Lake City, Ark., daughter of the late James Burrow and Mary Wilyard Broom, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Malden.
On Oct. 16, 1933, in Monette, Ark., she married Almon Broom, who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1992. She was also preceded in death by three daughters, Jean Netherton, Peggy Ann and Kathy Broom; two sons, Roger and James Broom; four sisters, Lillie and Flossie Burrow, Letha Hendrix and Marie Harris, and three brothers, Edward, Sylvester and Harvel Burrow.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Davis, of Malden; eight grandchildren, Tammy Broom, David Davis, Debbie Berry and Mr. Jamie Broom, all of Malden, Danny Broom, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Kelly Morgan, of Glennonville, Mo., Cathy Sluder, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Mark Broom, of Little Rock, Ark., and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Wesley Morgan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
