Born Aug. 28, 1935, in Pemiscot County, Mo., daughter of the late Eugene and Arlean Fuller, she was a 1953 graduate of Central High School and worked in the Hayti School system. She was a member of the True Light Church of God in Hayti.
Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Watts and husband, Clay, of Detroit, Mich., Malinda Fuller, of Benton Harbor, Mich., and LaWanda Cates and husband, John and Mekessia Alexander, all of Hayti; three brothers, Henry Newman and wife, Anita, of Sikeston, Mo., Billy Newman and wife, Karen, of Atlanta, Ga., and Lawrence Newman, of Hayti; two sisters, Rosella Thomas, of Hayti and Edith Lee and husband, Willis, of Elkhart, Ind.; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Kery and Keith; one brother, Nizer and one sister, Geneva.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, at the True Light Church of God in Hayti with Bishop James McAdams officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers are John Cates, Clay Watts, Willie Lee, Archie Robinson, Odell Wilson and Issac Mason.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
