Born March 4, 1938, in Tuckerman, Ark., daughter of the late Walter Thomas and Addie Mae Watson Richards, she was a cosmetologist at Parnell's Beauty Salon in Malden for several years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Malden.
In 1970, she married Gearl Wayne Adams, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Richard Adams and wife, Tina, of Jackson, Mo.; one sister, Parnell Miller and husband, Ed, of Malden; one granddaughter, Bria Adams, of Jackson; one grandson, Zak Adams, of Jackson and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Shorty Hartsell, Virgil Hartsell, Harold Richards and Billy Richards, and one sister, Dorothy Atchley.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, at the First Assembly of God Church in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. James Bolin, Keith Atchley and Dennis Atchley officiating.
A private burial will follow in the Park Cemetery at Malden.
