Aletha Thelma Jean Brady, 97, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 7, 1911, in Cooter, Mo., daughter of the late Jack and Emily Sarah Edington Paisley, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell, Mo.
On May 31, 1930, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Lonnie Arvel Brady, who preceded her in death on March 28, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include four daughters, Melba Fort, of Plantation, Fla., Shirley Crowson, of Austin, Mo., Sharon Tibbs, of Houston, Texas and Gloria Casselberry, of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell with James Powell officiating.
Landess Funeral Home in Campbell was in charge of arrangements.
