Born Feb. 18, 1923, in Houston, Ark., daughter of the late Harmon and Ada Freeman Maddox, she was homemaker and a member of the West Side General Baptist Church in St. Ann.
On June 22, 1942, in Kennett, she married Olan Richard Langston, who preceded her in death on July 29, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one son, Stanley R. Langston; one brother, Sherman Maddox and an infant sister, Opie Maddox.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Stanfill and husband, Ralph, of Old Monroe, Mo.; one brother, H.B. Maddox, of Heber Springs, Ark.; two grandchildren, Michael Stanfill, of Chesterfield, Mo., and Alan Stanfill, of St. Charles, and three great-grandchildren, Graham, Paige and Avery Stanfill.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.
