Ida Keown

Ida Mae Keown, 89, of Wardell, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.

Born May 27, 1919, in Biggers, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Alfred and Willie Mae Taylor Bryant.

On April 9, 1945, in Piggott, Ark., she married Charles Keown, who survives.

Survivors also include three brothers, William Bryant, of Wardell, Wilbur Bryant and Benny Bryant, of Washington, and three sisters, Wilma Bryant, of Washington , Rosie Bryant and Ruby Bryant, of Florida.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Brimhall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Griff Walker officiating.

Burial was in the Wardell Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers were friends of the family.
