The Kennett Education Foundation No. 39 (KEF) will be hosting a benefit concert to raise money for the various projects that the KEF supports.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the new Kennett High School (KHS) Auditorium.

The concert will feature music groups from the area including The Usual Suspects, Jaded, and Christy Rigdon-Agee and the Celtic singers.

Concessions will be provided by the KHS Key Club.

Admission is only $10 and tickets are available at Kennett National Bank, Senath State Bank, Garden Sanctuary, and online at www.kennetteducationfoundation.com.

The foundation's mission is to enhance the quality of education for all students in the district by providing a supplemental source of funds for educational projects, equipment, and programs which directly benefit the student.

The foundation gives away grants each year, and has been receiving more requests than it can fill. The fundraisers are a way to help meet the needs of the organization.

The foundation also administers, in whole or in part, the James Singleton, Sheryl Crow, Garret Short, Southern Missouri Bank and Trust, and Jack Burns Scholarships.
