Mary Pierce Baker, 72, of Cardwell, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Dec. 24, 1935, in Cardwell, she was the daughter of the late Alvis Garfield, Sr., and Icel Mae Dail Pierce.
She married Carl Baker, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, A.G., Frank, and J.C. Pierce.
Survivors include two sons, Harvey Beasley and wife, Anice, of Cardwell and Tim Dillahunt, of Paragould; one daughter, Teresa Gibson and husband, Jeff, of Warrensburg, Mo.; four sisters, Patsy Tillman, of Jonesboro, Ark., Imogene Young, of Salem, Wis., Frances Veal, of Olympia, Wash., and Dr. Lorena Shapiro, of Cardwell; one brother, James Pierce, of Arbyrd, Mo.; six grandchildren, Misty Coffell, Kara Camp, Matt Gibson, Brian Emenhiser, and Josh and Justin Beasley and four great-grandchildren, Katie Holifield, Caleb Camp, and Utah and Brady Coffell.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath, Mo., with the Rev. Denny Brown officiating.
Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Josh and Justin Beasley, Matt Gibson, Johnny Motes, Bill Davis and Clay Bullard.
