Lillie Lavern Sullivan, 70, of Clarkton, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 20, 1938, in Mountain View, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Willie F. and Elsie Jefferson Smith.
On Sept. 15, 1956, in Corinth, Miss., she married James Wayman Sullivan, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 16, 1989. In Oct. 1990, in Piggott, Ark., she married Lawrence Turner.
Survivors include three daughters, Naomi Ford, of Evansville, Ind., Rebecca Dunn, of Clarkton and Ronda Tindle, of Lilbourn, Mo.; one son, James Sullivan Jr., of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one step-daughter, Sonya Turner, of Clarkton; one sister, Yuvonne Rabey, of Fayetteville, Ark.; three brothers, Ted, Don, and Alvin Smith, all of Mountain View; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Jean Smith and Naomi Hess and two brothers, George and Frank Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.
Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are grandsons.
