Harold Treasure
Harold B. Treasure entered life eternal on Oct. 27, 2008. He was 85 years old. Mr. Treasure was born on December 9, 1922 in Bethany, Mo., to the late Lowell R. and Charles B. Treasure DDS. After serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II, he received his Juris Doctorate Degree from The University of Missouri, graduating in 1949. He married Ruth Carolyn Carlson on September 1, 1947 who predeceased him on Oct. 23, 1987.

Mr. Treasure practiced law in Kennett for over 55 years, serving as legal counsel for the City of Kennett, Chairman of the Missouri State Highway Commission, as a charter member of the Kennett National Bank Board of Directors, and as a member of the congregation of First United Methodist Church in Kennett.

He is survived by a daughter: Jane Treasure Neal, DDS and son-in-law, David M. Neal, DMD, of Chillicothe, Mo.; son: Charles B. Treasure II, MD and daughter-in-law, Lisa K. Treasure, of Knoxville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Carolyn L. Treasure, Madeline L. Treasure and Graham C. Treasure, of Knoxville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William W. Treasure.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett.
