Born July 15, 1924, in Kennett, son of the late John F. and Grace Davis Jackson, he was a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of the Southwest Nazarene Church in Dexter.
On Oct. 16, 1949, in Kennett, he married Jane Rhew, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter-in-law, Lorraine Jean Finn Jackson, of Somonauk, Ill.; two grandchildren, Terry Allen Jackson II, of Samonauk, Ill., and Jody Jackson, of Plainfield, Ill., and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Stonecipher and Hayle Nichole Jackson.
He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Allen Jackson; three brothers, Eugene John Harlen and Russell Jackson and one sister, Gladys McNew.
Funeral services were held at noon, today, Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ed Stoner officiating.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Oct. 17, in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
