Kenneth Earl Abney

Kenneth Earl Abney, 65, of Kennett, died Friday, Oct. 10, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Oct. 2, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of the late George Willard and Flora Mildred Miller Abney.

Survivors include one brother, Gaylon Abney, of Huntsville, Ala.; three sisters, Jean Dunlap, of Little Rock, Ark., Rose Williams, of Kennett, and /donna Hunt, of Vinegrove, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Ray, Car and Lee Abney and two sisters, Linda Abney and Joyce Barks.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Ark.

Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway, Ark.
