Norman Clarence

Born April 4, 1936, in Marmaduke, Ark., he was the son of the late Everett "Slats" and Blanche McLain Calvin..

Survivors include his wife, Jayne Duffel Calvin; three daughters, Allicia Wiseman and husband, Robert, of Wyoming, Courtney Calvin, of Rector and Kaycee Glasgow and husband, Tracy, of Paragould, Ark.; one brother, Joe Calvin, of Paragould; three sisters, Donna McGovern, of Mississippi, Trisha Vangilder, of Louisiana and Karen King, of Texas; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Heim, Mandi Kimble, Candi Franks, Kaylee Calvin, Addie Parrish, Jack Henry and Jillian Glasgow and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristie McConnell, and a sister, Addie Jill Calvin.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Bro. Marston Carpenter officiating.

Burial was in the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
