Dorothy Mae Morgan, 82, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Feb. 23, 1926, in Steele, Mo., daughter of the late Bruno and Carrie Lancaster Kinnison, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
On Oct. 29, 1944, she married J.P. Morgan, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, James Morgan and wife, Helen, of Gobler, Mo., and Ricky Morgan, of Kennett; two daughters, Betty Pritchett and husband, David, of Kennett and Cathy Clausel and husband, Bobby, of Selmer, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Mildred West, of Memphis, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edmond, Harold and Richard Kinnison; two sisters, Louise Ethridge and Ruby Ford and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Maynard officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Larry and William Morgan, Buddy Barren, Gary Dawson, and Johnny and Randy Bogle.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
