Mary Lou Brooks, 57, of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Jan. 22, 1951, in Campbell, daughter of the late Lawrence Amble and Mary Magdelene Dover Willard, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell.
On June 8, 1968, in Campbell, she married Robert Lee Brooks, who preceded her in death on March 22, 2001. She was also preceded in death by one infant brother, James Hubert Willard; one brother, Vernon "Dean" Eugene Willard and two grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Robert Brooks Jr., and wife, Tracy, of Holcomb, Mo.; one daughter, Sherry Barks and husband, Chris, of Kennett; two sisters, Wilma and Geraldine Todd, both of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; six brothers, Troy, Wesley, and Coy Willard, all of Cape, Alva, Bob and Dennis Willard, all of Campbell and four grandchildren, Allison and Noah Barks, Tessa Brooks and John Massey.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 6, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Robert Chastain and Bruce Vinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
