Grady Franklin Inman, 89, of Braggadocio, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Jan. 4, 1919, in Bonicord, Tenn., son of the late Andrew Franklin Inman and Udora Clinton Reynolds, he had worked for Brown Shoe Company in Caruthersville, Mo.
On Dec. 22, 1972, he married Brenda Hayes, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Jennifer Inman, of Braggadocio, and one step-daughter, Pat Grinder and husband, Gailand, of Waynesboro, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Eva Young, Evie French and Hettie Hayes and two brothers, Aaron and James Cratis Inman.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Crossroads Worship Center in Braggadocio with the Rev. Glen Davis officiating.
Pallbearers were Larry Joe Thompson, Glen Cannon, Noel Dudley, Bob Tabor, Billy Pearson and Glyn Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Ball, Bill and Donald Callis, Earl and Joe Crain, Tommy Lynn Crowe, J.W. Cunningham, Lyle Davis, Jerry Turpen and Mike Wilkins.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
