Kimberly Rickman

Kimberly A. Rickman, 22, of Holcomb, Mo., surrendered to police in the company of family members at 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, at the Columbia Police Department, Sgt. Ken Hammond said in a news release. During an interview with investigators, Rickman made statements incriminating herself in the attack, Hammond said.

Rickman allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman during a disturbance at about 1:30 a.m.Sunday September 21, in the 4400 block of Ria Street. The wounds were not life-threatening.

The man identified Rickman as his ex-girlfriend.

The victims and witnesses told officers Rickman arrived at the residence and started an argument with the female victim. During the argument, it is alleged that Rickman got a knife from the kitchen and threatened the female victim, Sgt. Krista Shouse-Jones of the Columbia Police Department said in a news release.

Rickman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of armed criminal action, one count of first-degree domestic assault and one count of first-degree assault. She remained Tuesday in the Boone County Jail with bond set at $150,000.
