Mary Luveda Bailey, 88, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Dec. 6, 1919, in Darden, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Harliss and Edna Evans Carrington.
On Oct. 2, 1936, in Cardwell, Mo., she married William Taft "Dub" Bailey, who preceded her in death on June 7, 2006. She as also preceded in death by one brother, Charley Carrington; two sisters, Willene Bowman and Lucille Bailey and one grandson, Gary Bailey, Jr.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Bailey, of Hornersville, Mo., Charles Bailey, of Kennett and Gary Bailey, of Russellville, Ark.; four daughters, Kathy Hunter, of Senath, Ruth Accord, of Manila, Ark., Mary Louise Henson, Venus, Fla., and Nancy Wilkins, of Kennett; two brothers, Jim Carrington, of Memphis, Tenn., and Hugh Carrington, of Beacon, Tenn.; five sisters, Betty Jo Kirk, of Memphis, Norma Sue Carrington, of Lancaster, Ohio, Janice Doyle, of Rossville, Tenn., Juanita Wright, of Danuba, Calif., and Pat Delashment, of Scappoose, Ore.; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, Sept. 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayland Tom officiating.
Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Doug, Charles, Darren and Kevin Bailey, Robert Acord, Ryan Hunter, Chris Mabry and Dave Henson.
Honorary pallbearers are Tim and Brayden Bailey, Gary Bailey III, Michael Hunter, and Terry and Ricky Henson.
