According to Jan McElwrath, executive director of the Kennett Chamber of Commerce, there were approximately 100 entries in the parade this year.
"This year was one of the longest parades Kennett has seen in a long time," McElwrath said.

In the parade there were clowns, scout troops, and queens and kings of all ages for the crowd to see, all throwing lots of candy to the children along the parade route.
Floats from area churches and organizations in the parade caught the eye of all viewing this year as in previous years.
