Edna Burlison Weaver, 94, of Hornersville, Mo., and Senath, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at the home of her daughter, JoAnn Hardeman, of Memphis, Tenn.
Edna was born Oct. 25, 1913, in Hornersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Bertha Burlison; her husband, Paul Weaver and by seven siblings.
She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Hardeman; two grandchildren, Dana Floyd and husband, Randy, of Alpharetta, Ga., and, Dorsey Hardeman and wife, Kim, of Jackson, Miss., and five great-grandchildren, Madison and Taylor Floyd and Max, Griffin and Abigail Hardeman.
She will be missed by her family and friends. She was known for her enthusiasm for life and was a favorite aunt of her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath with the Rev. Bob McNabb officiating.
Pallbearers were Dr. Gene Larue, Bill Burlison, Bryan Merrick, Chris, Will and Forest January, Max Ray Moore and Charles Auther.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Senath Methodist Church.
