Born Dec. 22, 1924, in Winfield, Ala., daughter of the late Ples Oscar and Dollie Grace Parr Beasley, she was employed at Gossard Garment Manufacturing in Malden and was a member of Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden.
On Sept. 14, 1940, in Gideon, Mo., she married Cecil Ray Kilgo, who preceded her in death on April 5, 1994. She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Ann Beasley, Joe Weldon, Deaner Layne, Margie Fowler and Peggy Baker; two brothers, Leon and Billy Beasley and one grandson, Shannon Ray Kilgo.
Survivors include one son, Sonny Ray Kilgo, of Bowling Green, Ky; one daughter, Bonnie "Tess" Bomar, of Malden; one sister, Jean Tabor and husband, Bill, of Malden; two brothers, Edward Beasley, of Clarkton, Mo., and Jerry "Smoky" Beasley and wife, Georgia, of Creal Springs, Ill.; five granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
