Mattie Bean

Mattie Bean, 91, of Hayti, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

Born Feb. 27, 1917, in Earl, Ark., daughter of the late George and Levenana Pittman Motley, she was a homemaker and a caregiver.

In 1940, at Wider, Ark., she married Willie Bean,.

Survivors include a cousin/niece, Fredia U. Ivory, of Hayti.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 19, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Brother Jamie Jones officiating.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
