Maris Uldis Dainis, 53, of Hornersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at his residence.

Born Jan. 10, 1955, in Lakeview , Mich., he was the son of the late Teodors and Milija Asnis Dainis.

Survivors include one brother, John Dainis and wife, Deborah, of Hornersville, and three nieces, 5 cousins and other relatives.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., today, Friday, Sept. 12, in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville with Brother Paul Moore officiating.

Pallbearers were Donald and Brad Moss, Lance Mabry, Sam Wyrick, Nickie Fry and Thomas Brown.

Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
