Donna Head, 81, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at her residence.
Born Nov. 27, 1926, in Scott City, Mo., daughter of the late Fred Gray and Opal Mae Provance Brandon, she was a homemaker and she attended Beechwell General Baptist Church.
On March 6, 1946, she married James Franklin Head, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dianna Harmon; her companion, Raymond Boyet; three brothers, Bob, Jim and Lloyd Brandon; one sister, Glenda Court and two grandsons, Jackie Thrasher and Marty O'Dell.
Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Townsend and husband, Delbert, Vickie Pierce and Judy Bader and husband, Steve, all of Campbell, and Janett Lewis and husband, Jerry, of Piggott, Ark.; one brother, Freddy Brandon, of Bernie, Mo.; three sisters, Sharon Nash, of Malden, Mo., and Pat Gales and Wanda Carter, both of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Rusty and Kenny Thacker, Lisa Perkins, Chris Lewis, Gina Bell, and Summer, Devin, Chelsea and McKenna Bader and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Sept. 12, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Gelsinger officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
