Born July 8, 1918 in Drew, Miss., son of the late Mance and Ida Lee Cain Cunningham, he graduated from West Hermondale, Mo., and worked as a bus driver/custodian until his retirement from Delta C-7 School system. He was of Baptist faith.
He married Odessa Love who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Andrew L. Cunningham.
Survivors include five sons, Mance, Willie L., Joseph A., and Donald R. Cunningham, all of Kennett and Gerald Wayne Cunningham and wife, Karen, of Charlotte, N. C.; one daughter, Eria Grays and husband, Mon, of Kennett; one brother, George Cunningham, of Hopkinsville, Ky.; one sister, Eria B. Rice, of Muskgeon, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the McDaniell Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
