Pauline Ester Vivrett, 88, of Eureka, Mo., formally of Hayti, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 in Eureka, MO.
Born July 10, 1920 in Wardell, Mo., daughter of the late George and Esther Hampton, she was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Women's Garden Club, and Beta Sigma Phi in Hayti. She was also a member of the Central Baptist Church and Women's Ministries in Eureka.
On July 23, 1940, at Caruthersville, Mo., she married C.A. "Clem" Vivrett, they operated an antique and furniture business in Hayti.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Mark Kneibert.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances E. Hampton and husband Bill of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Patricia J. Corley and husband Michael of Eureka; one son, Jerry D. Vivrett and wife Paula of Farmington; five grandchildren, Lee Kneibert, Kelly Vivrett Amsden, Cathey Corley O'Connor, Michael Corley, Timothy Vivrett Corley, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held today, 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 7, at Central Baptist Church (North Central Avenue) in Eureka, Mo.,
Visitation services will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, at the John German Funeral Home at Hayti. A memorial service will follow.
Burial will be at Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville, Mo.
Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church in Eureka.
