With the new tennis court finally completed at the Kennett High School campus, the district felt it was appropriate to host a celebratory dedication event.

At 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, the school is to host a dedication ceremony that members of the community are encouraged to attend.

According to the school, Sheryl Crow is also planning on being present to show support for her hometown community and school, as she so frequently does.

Superintendent Jerry Noble said the district is looking forward to the event.

For more information, contact the Kennett High School at (573) 717-1120.

Our father, Dr. Paul Miltenberger, helped raise funding for the first set of lights on the tennis courts. He spent many happy hours on those courts and our family has fond memories of playing there. Best wishes to the Community for supporting its youth and area tennis players.
